We are very sorry that we have been off air for several hours on a couple of occasions recently. This has been due to server problems at our stream host. Long term listeners will know that their reliability is generally good so, hopefully, service levels will now return to normal. If not, we will seek out a new stream host!

Also, some of you may have experienced more buffering than usual recently. This has been due to problems experienced by our ISP. We have been assured that these have been resolved.

We have made many changes to the site. Here are the highlights:

We have a downloads page where you can find our mixes including our latest - HipHopBox.

Subscribers can now reserve their listener slots and get high quality mp3 versions of MimaRadio mixes.

Since we upgraded the broadband stream to 128kb, at times we have been filling all of our available broadband listeners slots. Whilst it is great to be popular, we are very sorry if you have been unable to tune in at 128kb. (There are usually slots available at 24kb.)

We would love to add more 128kb slots but so far we have received no donations and we just can't afford it. If a few regular listeners wanted to join our subscription program at just $5 per month, it would soon add up and we would immediately add more slots.

It is very important to us to keep MimaRadio free of adverts but it means we are relying on our regular listeners to help us expand the number of available listener slots. If you want to help, please visit our donations page.

We have upgraded our stream from 96kb to 128kb so now MimaRadio sounds even better.

The MimaRadio shop is now open and relies heavily for inspiration on the new MimaRadio logos. Please visit the shop and support the station!

Apologies for having been off air for a few days. We were badly let down by our ISP so a new ISP has been organised and hopefully there will be less downtime from now on.

Big thanks to all of our regular listeners who have supported us so brilliantly since MimaRadio started broadcasting last October. We finally have the site up and running and we hope you like it. You can leave your comments on the station and website in our Guestbook. We would love to hear your suggestions for improvements or additions.

The site is nearly complete. The MimaRadio shop which will be open in the very near future and, as soon as we overcome some technical difficulties, there will be a section on the Home page to show the song currently playing and the last ten songs played.
